Movie Maker

So dinner last night was fun... tasty too. Pat was telling me this story about how in the morning this birthday music started playing (you know the kind you hear in those singing birthday cards) and she thought it was Herky. It wasn't Herky and he thought it was Pat. When they realised that it wasn't either of them they started hunting for where the sound came from. Firstly they looked outside to see if it was someone playing a trick on them but no one was out there. So Pat starts rifling through the cupboards pulling things out trying to find the source of the music. After looking everwhere she finally decided to pull the fridge away from the wall and check behind it. Underneath the fridge was a birthday cake spatula that sings when its dark. They had lost the thing years ago when Pats son in law washed the thing and broke it. How creepy is that... they hadn't seen the thing in years and suddenly on Herkys 60th birthday it starts singing for no reason. Someone from beyond the grave trying to say happy birthday? I wonder...

Oh last night i downloaded some Windows Movie Maker thing and made this slideshow/movie thingo. Pretty cool hey?

I'm back!

Sooo I'm back online again! and i reckon i need to start updating my blong once more.. it will be hard because it's been such a long time i have no idea where to start.

We have mice.... I'm very annoyed by this... i have caught a few but their friends know what the trap is all about now and so they dont go near it anymore. I bought some new traps from work the other day and melted some chocolate onto the little spring thing so that they would definitely go off... the little fuckers managed to prise the chocolate off and not set off the trap. I think i'm dealing with supermice! MY Dad just came over then to re-set them his way and we'll see how that pans out. Ugh so gross!

So its my birthday soon. 26 years old. Man time has gone quick. I really need to motivate myself and do something with my life... can't say i've done much. Someone give me a few million so i can go and experience the world. That would be a nice present. No seriously... any millionaires out there reading this... help a fellow human out. I'll appreciate it i promise :)

ANYAWAY... for my birthday i'm having an 80's dress up party. Can't wait... well sorta can't wait. Work has died down the next couple of week at work and i'm only getting two shifts per week. NOT to mention that i got a promotion from being casual to being permanent part time so that means my hourly rate goes down... which doesnt help my situatuion... i still have things i need to buy plus i have about 50 odd people to cater for.. not to mention my own alcoholic needs. So stressful.. but we'll get there.. if anyone can think of a get rich quick scheme or a fast money making scheme let me know.

It's Budgies Dad's (Herky) 60th Birthday today. They are picking me up and we're all going out for dinner at the pub in about half an hour. That should be good. I'm bloody starving haha. HAPPY BIRTHDAY HERKY! He will probably never read this but i figured i'd say it anyway.

Sensation was great... mostly. Not a lot to say on this one. In fact it wasn't a great a time as i imagined.. the actual event was good.. the actual holiday wasn't fantastic.

Alright i've hit a blank so i'm gonna leave it here. I really haven't even covered half of what has happened since i stopped writing last time but it doesn't matter.. i'll just type things as they come to mind.. if they do.

Where to start?

So it's been a while since i last blogged. Thats due to a virus. Budgie downloaded 25 viruses to the computer which in turn died in the ass. Luckily my friend Amy's dad knows a bit about computers and he was able to get rid of the viruses while saving all of my photos. Phew! Jeez its been almost a month so I'd better catch you up on some things. Last thing i wrote about was the Zombie walk. Turned out circumstances stopped me from going which sucked. But oh well there's always next year. I'll be more prepared next year.

Not long after the zombie walk thing i was walking to work one morning, well walking to the train station to catch the TRAIN to work when i seen these two cars pulled up on the side of the main road and two men were on the median strip. One picked up a stick and the other was crassing the road back to where his daughter was in the car. I had no idea what they were doing til i heard these kids yelling. I looked up and across the road were about 6 kids screaming and swearing at this guy. As this was happening i was crossing the road, in front of me were the kids who started walking down the street that i was heading for and the guy with the stick was walking behind me with it raised. He didn't seem all that threatening to me.. i know that sounds weird because of the stick but he didnt seem crazy or anything. Anyway these kids were running away to the house they live in while this guy behind me was yelling back "Yeah i'll see you at the copshop" Anyhow, the kids ran into their house and were yelling at family members to come outside, i sorta halted and thought i aint staying here and started to cross the street. As i started to cross i hear this engine rev and someone yell "get that white muthafucka!!" This car came FLYING out of the driveway just missing me because i RAN to get off the road and went straight up onto the footpath to try and run this man with the stick down. She (the driver of the car) missed him the first time. He ran to get out of her way,so she turned the car around and rammed him with it. I took off down the street to get away from the crazy bitch and the last thing i saw before she did a huge burnout and covered the street in smoke was this poor guy bouncing off the hood. I freaked out. Planned on calling the cops when i got to the end of the street but some other lady was already doing it. Scary shit. While it was all smokey i heard this really loud thump sound. then about two minutes later the crazy bitch in the car came tearing down the street right past us and took off.The look she gave me as she drove past sent chills down my spine. Fucked up shit I was terrified to walk to the train station on my own for a while after that. To this day i still refuse to walk past her house. I rang the cops when i got to work and reported that i'd seen it and they took my name and number but i never heard back from them so i'm assuming the guy survived. Poor bastard.

Okay on a better note, I took the kids trick or treating for halloween. A lot of people wouldnt open their doors. But the kids still got a fair few lollies. They looked so cute dressed in their halloween gear. Amy came with me and we both wore bright pigtail wigs haha. I'll show you some pictures.

So i'm hoping to go on the Zombie Walk this year. Zombie Walk? you say? Whats that? Weeeelll I only just heard about it last night myself. I seen it on facebook and apparently once a year in Adelaide a group of people dress up like zombies and walk and act like them from Rundle street to Hindley Street. Then we have a big Zombie party at some "safe havens" (certainpubs) where we get drink specials all night! Whoohoo love cheap drinks haha. Weird you say? indeed. Strange you say? Very. Why? you say. WHY THE FUCK NOT? hahaha Could be fun. Something different. Something unusual. It's better than doing the same old crap weekend after weekend. Why not shake it up a bit and do something weird. haha I'm looking forward to it. Only gonna go if Lisa isn't working that night. Won't be as fun going on my own I doubt Amy will do it. She said she'll think about it. But i'm pretty sure she's too embarassed. My cousin Jen would have come with me but she has a bloody party that night which sucks balls. Oh well. Fingers crossed for Lisa. Anyone else care to join? Feel free. The More the merrier. OH i was thinking of asking Jerry can Jones... i reckon she'd be into something like this. Thats an idea...

Sick of FRUIT

So i've lost 3 kilos! yay. I've completely cut all junk food out of my diet. All i've been eating during the day is fruit... unless i have dinner leftovers then i take that into work for lunch. I'm sick of eating fruit... it's nice, tasty and good for you... but bloody hell i just want a pizza.. or a whopper... or KFC LOL. Man i had the most unhealthy diet.

I asked my boss for time off today so i could go to Melbourne... good thing he said yes considering i already have the tickets, and i assume they are non-refundable.

OH. Funny thing.. Budgie reckons last night about ten minutes after he got into bed (I was already there fast asleep) I started talking and i said "Oh my god, are you for real? Thats fantastic!" He started laughing then nudged me which apparently woke me up (I remember nothing) then asked "what were you dreaming about?" and to which i replied "ohhhh reaaalllyy good chicken." HAHAHAHAHA this diet must be taking it's toll. Cracker... he told me today and i couldn't stop giggling.

So i bought the kids some halloween costumes today. I'm taking Carly Josh and their cousin Hyden trick or treating this year. Can't wait. I'm probably looking forward to it more than them haha. Sad i know. But i never really got to do it. I remember trick or treating once with my old neighbour Mel. But it wasn't proper trick or treating. This year we're gonna do it properly. Amy's gonna come with me and we're not dressing up but we'll be in crazy wigs lol. I really think Australia should start embracing halloween a lot more. SO WHAT if it's an american thing. Why not have a bit of fun.. and dress up for the kids?

OH guess what i found at work today? Scented glue pens! SCENTED GLUE PENS?! I mean aren't we supposed to teach kids that sniffing glue is BAD? Not encourage them to do it. sheesh. I wanted to chuck the lot in the bin. What a joke. We don't stock spray paint because of people buying them to inhale to get high. We keep the air horns locked up in a cupboard and you have to be 18 to buy them because kids inhale them. Yet we sell scented glue pens. Ridiculous.

SENSATION!!

So it's decided! I'm going to melbourne for new years eve. This new years eve is gonna be the best one yet. I've had such crappy new years the past four or five years, so i'm gonna make sure this one is a blast. And i do believe that sensation is the way to do it.

Me, Budgie, Lisa, Bernie, Matt and possibly Gary will be flying up to melbourne to the Telstra Dome for the all white rave/show/concert/club/newyears eve party called Sensation. I can't wait! It looks awesome. Every time i see the ad on tv my heart starts racing and i get a funny feeling in my tummy haha. I've been looking at some pictures and i saved a few that i'll post on here so you can get an idea of what its gonna be like. I'm gonna dye my hair purple and have hot pink glow under blacklight splices through it. So Cool.
